Multi-Country Safari

Combine Tanzania with Kenya, Rwanda, or beyond — pair the Serengeti with the Masai Mara, mountain gorillas, or Victoria Falls in one seamless journey.

Experience Guide

Tanzania pairs beautifully with its neighbours. The Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara are two halves of the same migration ecosystem; Rwanda and Uganda add mountain gorilla trekking just a short flight away; and East Africa connects onward to Victoria Falls and beyond. A multi-country safari weaves these into a single journey, handling the borders and flights so you don’t have to.

It’s the trip of a lifetime for travellers who may only make the journey to Africa once, or who want contrasting highlights — savannah, rainforest, and waterfall — in one go. We coordinate the cross-border logistics, visas, and permits, and time each leg for its best season.

Is It Worth It?

Multi-country trips are logistically complex and best left to specialists — visas, permits (gorilla permits especially are limited and pricey), and flight timing all need coordinating. Done right it's spectacular; done piecemeal it's stressful. Gorilla trekking has a minimum age of 15 and requires permits booked months ahead.

Good to Know

  • Gorilla permits are limited — book months ahead
  • Each country has its own visa requirements
  • Gorilla trekking minimum age is 15
  • Best for once-in-a-lifetime journeys

Before You Book

Which countries pair best with Tanzania?
+
Kenya (Masai Mara, same migration), Rwanda or Uganda (mountain gorillas, a short flight away), and southern Africa (Victoria Falls) for a grand tour.
Do you handle visas and permits?
+
Yes — we coordinate cross-border flights, visa guidance, and permits, including the limited gorilla permits which must be secured well in advance.
How long do I need?
+
Realistically 9–16 days to do two or three countries justice without rushing. We'll balance the legs to your time and interests.
Can children join?
+
Most legs are family-friendly, but gorilla trekking has a strict minimum age of 15. We'll plan around your group's ages.
