Catch-and-release is encouraged for billfish; eating species can be cooked at your hotel.

Game fishing is best August to March; outside that, expect quieter grounds. It's a premium half-day, so it suits keen anglers — casual visitors may prefer the cheaper, characterful local hand-line trips. We encourage releasing billfish to keep the fishery healthy.
